African American Women: Online Archival Collections
Highly recommended by the "National Endowment of the Arts for Humanities,"
this special collections library from Duke University scans original
transcriptions of very rare material. Includes a full-text memoir by
Elizabeth Johnson Harris, whose parents lived in slavery during the 1800's.
Also includes extraordinarily rare examples of slave letters, as well as
historical information, photos, and links to other valuable resources.
